leadership is nothing without a following.
Ephesians 6:13-14a(AMPC)
13 Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].
14 Stand therefore [hold your ground],
Having done all- standing
Having done all means doing what God says to do in and amongst the crisis.
Obedience- you will never obey until you first believe
Your faith must be developed
Developing- to grow and mature in
For something to be alive it has 2 characteristics
-It has motion
-It has the ability to reproduce
-In this life we are either moving closer to the Lord or further away.
-Their is a reproductive force at work when we plant a seed either good or bad.
Genesis 8:22a
22 As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest
We as people are always planting seeds good or bad.
-As believers - walking a life of faith - we plant faith filled seeds- we plant seeds in our life from God’s Word- faith filled seed= Faith filled words
Living a faith filled life is about believing God- and Obeying Him.
Believing will lead you to obeying - to following His will and His way for your life- the life that leads to abundance in Him
Faith must be developed
Whats the first step in developing faith?
James 1:2-4(NKJV)
2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces [a]patience.
4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be [b]perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
Choice- joy is a choice not a feeling-count on Him
Your faith will be tested by resistance -various trials
Faith it until you make it- can’t fake faith bc when the test comes- there will be evidence
-Let patience- its a choice bc development takes time.
James 1:2-4(NLT)
2 Dear brothers and sisters,[a] when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.
3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can!

For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up in you the power of endurance.
James 1:4(TPT)
And then as your endurance grows even stronger, it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.
-You will either let the trial and tribulation define you
Or- by Faith- we will choose to allow God’s Word- the Creator of the Universe define you. Who you are and where he is taking you.
